1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Walksy, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Walksy is owned and operated by 4 Girls Travel, Inc.
2. App Purpose
Walksy is a mobile app that offers audio-guided walking tours designed to help users explore cities at their own pace. The app includes maps, narration, user location services, and optional photo capture features.
3. Eligibility
You must be 16 years or older to create an account. Children under 16 may use the app with parental supervision, but may not register an account themselves.
4. Account Registration
To access certain features, you may need to create an account using your email or a third-party login (e.g., Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
5. User Responsibilities & Safety
You agree to:
Use Walksy only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes
Remain aware of your surroundings while walking
Avoid using the app in hazardous or restricted areas
Comply with all applicable laws and traffic regulations
🚨 Safety Reminder
Use caution when walking and listening to audio. Do not rely on the app for navigation in dangerous areas. 4 Girls Travel, Inc. is not liable for injuries, accidents, or losses that may occur while using Walksy.
6. In-App Purchases
Payment for premium tours or features is handled through the App Store or Google Play. We do not store or access your payment details. All purchases are subject to the respective store’s refund policy.
7. Content Ownership
All content within the app—including text, audio, graphics, and branding—is owned by 4 Girls Travel, Inc. or licensed appropriately. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
Reverse-engineer or tamper with the app
Interfere with others’ use of the app
Use the app for commercial tour guiding
Upload harmful code or attempt to access restricted features
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms.
9. Third-Party Travel Services
Walksy may include links to or integrations with third-party travel services, including (but not limited to) Booking.com, Omio, Viator, and Priority Pass. These services are provided by independent companies and not by 4 Girls Travel, Inc.
We do not operate, own, or control these services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, pricing, policies, cancellations, or service quality.
All bookings, payments, and service inquiries are handled directly by the respective provider. By using these services through the Walksy app, you agree to the provider's own Terms and Privacy Policies.
We are not liable for any losses, delays, damages, or dissatisfaction related to third-party bookings made through Walksy.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Walksy is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 4 Girls Travel, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including personal injury, data loss, or property damage arising from use of Walksy.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the app if we believe you have violated these Terms.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. If changes are material, we’ll notify you via email or in-app. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States.
